4G / LTE (Long Term Evolution)
In today's era technology plays a very vital role in humans life and it made our daily routine easy, with the help of technology we have the access of virtual world in our finger tips. The technology changed our life.
If I talk about technology one name comes in everyone’s mind, which is a trending news in the indian market right now. Yes I am talking about Reliance Jio the Telecom provider. After the launching of 4G in India, Reliance Jio stepped into the market with free 4G services to the India consumers in the month of September 2016 and they had taken a strategic step to increase the number of consumers.
Reliance Jio launched their 4G services all over the India with free data and voice callings and ruled the Indian market with 72.4 million customers by the end of December 2016 and they extended their free services till March 2017 and given tough competition to the all giant competitors in the market like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea etc.
The strategic method used by Reliance Jio was considered very effective because their goal was to rule the market with good number of customers and they achieved their goals because right now they are serving 100 + million customers all over the country and now they come with a new scheme for customers “Jio Prime Member Subscription” and this scheme will end on 31st March 2017.
Jio Prime Members will get benefits of extra data per month from 1st April 2017 for that customers have to recharge with 99rs to get subscribed with Prime member and get free calls and data for one year.
The telecom networks like – Airtel, Idea, Vodafone they are also emerging in the market with different schemes for the customers. In the recent news all of us heard that the two giants Idea and Vodafone are merging together to become a largest providers in the country and to give a competition to new entrants.
The technologies are changing vastly in the country and the customers are getting benefits from it and the expectations of customers also increasing day by day towards their providers and the providers also working on the same to give good schemes.
The country like India is a good platform for all the telecom providers to expand their business by providing the best services to the customers, because the Indian customers now aware about the technologies and the services. So it's a very good opportunities for all the providers to give their best services and network to the customers.
